Description
Help kids improve their reading comprehension with knowledge of sentence structure while acquiring background knowledge. These sentence structure task slides take only 5 minutes a day. Understanding at the sentence level will help kids be successful when analyzing longer texts.
The sentences used are facts about a non-fiction topic so that students continue to acquire background knowledge.
Background knowledge is a main component of language comprehension. The more prior knowledge they have, the easier it will be to understand both fiction and nonfiction texts.
